Mens

Men’s cricket is offered in a variety of ways across the county and is an area of great importance for the GCB, the ECB and Sport England.

Cricket is no longer purely based around the traditional game which is played in whites at a cricket ground at the weekend, instead there are a wide variety of opportunities which pages in this section will take you through.

Across Gloucestershire and Bristol we have a wonderful pyramid of opportunity for Saturday league cricket which provides players, clubs and teams with the opportunity to play at a level which is relevant to the quality of the player.

Sunday cricket is also in an ever improving position with the offer of local leagues and county cup competitions providing players the opportunity to play two days a weekend or in a format which they prefer.

Cricket is also trying to ensure that it is not just a summer sport which is crammed between rugby and football. For this reason the GCB offer indoor cricket through leagues in each of the four district areas.
