Groundsmen (GGA)

The Gloucestershire Grounds Association’s (GGA) principle aim is to work in partnership with appropriate individuals, suppliers and agencies to develop both groundsmen and playing surfaces for all clubs, schools and facilities affiliated to the GCB.

Sean Williams, head groundsman for Gloucestershire Cricket is the association’s chairman. Sean brings a raft of knowledge from the game and has a real desire to support and develop groundsmen at clubs across the county.

Sue Brees is GGA secretary. Sue currently in employment with Osborne Clark, where she is the group PA for the corporate/business team. Sue is known to within cricket through her work at Frenchay CC as well as her support for the GCB Youth League & Performance Development Group where she is minutes secretary.
