Officials (GACO)

The Gloucestershire Association of Cricket Officials (GACO) is the premier organisation in the county which represents the best interests of umpires and scorers of all levels.

In conjunction with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Gloucestershire Cricket Board (GCB) GACO exists:

  2. To improve umpire and scorer recruitment processes.
  3. To appoint officials to all cricket matches when requested.
  4. To liaise with other organisations both without and within the County of Gloucestershire.
  5. To administer an assessment and improvement programme.
  6. To agree an appropriate level of fees and expenses.
  7. To manage GACO finances judiciously.
