Focus Clubs
What is a Focus Club?
In Gloucestershire we believe that to enable a club to become a County Board Focus Club (FC) it must meet a Minimum Quality Standard and if it does not, regardless of the size or seniority of the Club it will not be asked to be a FC.
Focus Club Selection
The current Focus Clubs were selected on the basis that:
- They are Clubmark Accredited
- Is committed to annually review their Development Plan and input relevant data on to CBMS
- They have signed up to the
GCB Service Level Agreement - They are identified as a key deliverer within the GCB strategic development plan
- They are committed strategically to the delivery of junior development programmes and/or development activities with specific target groups (disability, women/girls, and ethnic minorities)
- They are able to access and utilise ECB, GCB and local development resources to support the delivery of their Club Development Plan
