Club Development
Working with the Clubs in the County is by far and away the single biggest issue that Gloucestershire Cricket Board has to address every single day and in a way that needs to be reactive and supportive of the needs of the clubs.
Club Development is a small title that covers so many issues that clubs are faced with each and every day especially as they try to develop and embrace modern standards. Some areas of development may include Clubmark accreditation, development planning, NatWest Cricket Force, recruitment of new volunteers, the issue of insurances, child welfare, facility improvements, coach education, to name but a few.
Gloucestershire Cricket Board exists to help Clubs with any queries they may have about the game they play. This website has been designed to help you get answers to your questions and we hope that you will be able to do so from the sections linked from this page.
There are also several other additional documents that may be of help to your club.
Facility Development
All clubs need to improve their facilities, for each club this can be to a different standard but to support all clubs with their plans the ECB have produced 6 Technical Specification documents that can help – especially if you are going to either Sport England or the ECB for funding.
If your club has a facility project and you would like support from the Board then get in contact with This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
