EDUCATIONAL CRICKET COURSES
To Improve the Quality of Groundsmanship, courses are run through the year by The Institute of Groundsmen; they are available to book direct through the IOG or via the Gloucestershire Cricket Board office.
In Gloucestershire the Groundsmans Association offers the IOG Foundation Course which runs in the spring and the autumn.

FOUNDATION, PART B, AUTUMN RENOVATION AND WINTER MAINTENANCE – ONE DAY

- Top dressing
- Fertiliser application

If a groundsman is wanting to progress further then they are able to move on to the ‘Intermediate, Introduction to the theory course, this again is a one day course. This course covers the following:
