The performance end of Women and Girls cricket is focused on greatly through each winter. All squads have huge potential and the winter programme is designed very much around unlocking this potential to see the county squads achieve the performances they are capable of.

Gloucestershire run the following county sides:
All squads receive 10 weeks of coaching over the winter which recently has been based at the County Ground and Castle School in Thornbury, these programmes run from January-March. In addition to the winter coaching, all squads have either outdoor practices throughout the summer to supplement the match fixtures or they have additional friendlies built into the programme to provide more match opportunities and experience.

Trials for the 2011 season will occur in October 2010 with the winter programme commencing in January for the selected girls. The trial nomination letter can be found attached below – nominations need to be received no later than Friday 27th August.
