Lamb reflects on life changing Rwanda trip – with audio interview

Gloucestershire Cricket Board (GCB) coach Pete Lamb has recently returned from a life-changing two week trip to Rwanda with Cricket Without Boundaries.

During the project, Pete – who plays for Coalpit Heath CC – coached more than a thousand children, trained new coaches and used cricket as a tool to raise HIV/AIDS awareness and promote gender equality.

He said: “The trip was an incredible experience. I met some amazing people and gained a completely different perspective on life. I made friends and memories that will last a lifetime and also developed my coaching skills. I would recommend this to anyone and would urge people to volunteer by visiting www.cricketwithoutboundaries.com.”
