It is time to thank Gloucestershire’s unsung heroes by nominating them for a NatWest OSCA (Outstanding Service to Cricket Award).
From coaches to committee members and league officers to officials, the awards seek to celebrate the people who go the extra mile for the good of the grass roots game.
Nominations are now open for 2016 and Gloucestershire Cricket Board (GCB) chief executive Steve Silk is urging people to make sure the county’s tireless volunteers receive the recognition they deserve.
He said: “Nominating someone for a NatWest OSCA is a lovely way to say thank you for all their hard work.
“The people we want to celebrate are the dedicated individuals who often go under the radar but make a vital contribution to cricket, whether in their club, school, league or association.
“Recreational cricket wouldn’t exist without the passion and energy of these volunteers and I would urge people to make the effort to recognise them by filling in a nomination form.”
The 7 NatWest OSCAs nomination categories for 2016 are:
