The GCB is responsible for all aspects of recreational cricket in the county including supporting and developing umpires, scorers and groundsmen.

A large amount of work goes into these areas as it they are essential to providing a high quality experience for everyone involved in cricket in Gloucestershire.

To this end the Board works closely with the Gloucestershire Association of Cricket Officials (GACO) and the Gloucestershire Grounds Association (GGA) to ensure that matches are officiated in the proper way and that grounds are of the appropriate standard for good cricket to be played at all levels.

Gloucestershire Coaches Association

The Gloucestershire Cricket Board Coaches Association (GCBCA) is the county’s arm of the national England and Wales Cricket Board Coaches Association (ECBCA).
