Gloucestershire Under 15 champions Bedminster breezed through to the next round of the ECB National Cup after beating Herefordshire winners Ross-on-Wye by 10 wickets.
Spinner Shazil Butt (pictured) took 5-8 as the Bristol side bowled their opponents out for 48 in the 14th over.
They raced to their target in just five overs as Nazrul Kadir smashed 35 off just 18 balls, supported by Danny Constable who made a run-a-ball 13.
Bedminster had reached the regional round after defeating Charlton Kings in the Gloucestershire final.
Against Ross, skipper Jack Filer won the toss and elected to field.
In his second over pace bowler Adam Hares (2-10) claimed the wickets of both openers. First he clean bowled Adam Middlecote for a golden duck before a superb diving catch at full stretch by ‘keeper Lewis Shean ensured Charlie Cole (5) followed his partner back to the pavilion with the score on 16-2 off 2.5 overs.
Joe Millard (1-41) was introduced into the attack bowling Adam Davies (6) in his first over. Harry Drissell (2-5) finished his spell with a double wicket maiden, bowling both Marcus Bailey and Alexander Springer for further ducks.
The magical height and spin of Shazil Butt cleaned up the tail, bowling four of his victims as Ross finished on 48 all out – half their runs coming in extras.
In reply Kadir blitzed the ball to all parts of the ground hitting 35 of 18 balls, including six fours and one maximum.
Bedminster will be looking to continue their undefeated run in all competitions this season, when they travel to face the Welsh Champions in the next round on July 24.
