Community

As well as growing cricket through clubs and schools, the GCB is committed to developing the game through less traditional routes through our community programme.

These include Chance to Shine Street cricket sessions, the Bristol Big Bash T20 League and regular taster and pop-up events.

In partnership with the Lord’s Taverners we have a dedicated Wicketz Development officer – Crispin Shingler – whose job it is to grow cricket in underprivileged communities in Bristol. His aim is to use cricket to bring people together and as a tool to bring about social change.
