The Gloucestershire Cricket Board (GCB) is looking for coaches to work on its county and district performance programme.
The GCB is seeking enthusiastic, committed and knowledgeable people – with a minimum of an ECB Level 2 coaching qualification – for roles with both boys and girls age group squads.
These are paid roles and the GCB welcomes interest from people with experience of coaching young cricketers and who is passionate about helping them to achieve their potential.
Successful applicants will be required to lead a 12 week coaching programme (2-4 hours per week) from January to April and take a team for around 10 matches (six for district coaches) during the summer. There is also the possibility of attending a residential festival although this isn’t the case for all squads.
Coaches need to be well-organised, good at communicating and have up to date DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications. Playing experience at a good level and an in-depth knowledge of local club cricket are desirable.
Payment is based on hourly rate during the winter (dependent on level of qualification), a set match fee during the summer plus mileage for both at 25p per mile.
