HOLDERS Frocester will be bidding to reach the semi-finals of the Stuart Canvas Gloucestershire Cup when they host Cheltenham on Sunday August 7 (1.30pm).
At stake is another home tie, against Downend.
In the other half of the draw, Thornbury booked a semi-final trip to Winterbourne on Sunday August 14 after clinching a 159-run win away to Knowle.
The visitors, who lost the toss, got off to the worst possible start when they lost Dan Davis, a centurion the previous day, for just one.
But Thornbury rallied in style to reach 301-8 thanks to Sam Summerfield (83), Danny Slade (70) plus the Wormwell brothers, Harry (64) and Marcus (54) with three wickets apiece being claimed by Callum Nankervis and Sam Britton.
Knowle were never in contention with the bat and slid to 142 all out, Marcus Wormwell finishing with 4-47 while Slade took 1-14 from a tight nine-over spell.
There are two ties, meanwhile, in the St Austell Brewery Gloucestershire Trophy on Sunday.
Gloucester AIW Sports host Downend 2nds in the quarter-finals with the winners then away to Great Rissington.
And Langford, fresh from a seven-wicket victory away to Hambrook, travel to Kingsholm.
