Gloucestershire Growlers became the first-ever winners of the Blind Cricket Clubs Quiz Tournament after defeating Cheshire Cobras 45-42 in an exceptionally high-quality final.
The Gloucestershire team of Mike Tasker, Alun Davies, Ed Hastings and Joe Keeble had scored very highly in every one of their matches during the competition, including a Semi-Final win over neighbours Somerset, and they held a narrow lead throughout the final despite the Cheshire team of Dave Knowles, Frank Mcfarlane, Marcus Darby and Phil Rigby also managing a very high score.
