On Wednesday 23rd November, Chance to Shine recognised stars of the sport at their national awards, including Gloucestershire Cricket Board’s Community Coach, Masoor Khan, who received Chance to Shine Street Coach of the Year.

Masoor, who is the Counties Chance to Shine Street lead, was presented with his award during an inspiring evening, where winners from across the country were recognised for the work that they do to support grassroots cricket.

The award represents Masoor’s hard work and dedication to the 6 Bristol based Street Cricket Hubs he delivers, and the significant impact they have had on communities across the City.  With opportunities for juniors, women and girls and young adults, numbers continue to surge as a result excellent communication skills and long standing connections he has made in the community.  The exciting sessions and rapport he builds with individual participants and their families, has sparked the desire to come back week on week.

The brilliant work Masoor carries out is captured in this video…
