Coach Theron Gordon and young player Siddque Khan were among a group of 12 youngsters from Bristol who took part in a 10 day coaching camp run by ex-England star Kevin Pietersen.
After the event – which was run by the KP24 Foundation – they spoke to BBC Bristol’s Geoff Twentyman.

The players selected all came through the Gloucestershire Cricket Board’s Chance to Shine Street and ECB inner-city cup programmes. During the camp they received guidance on all aspects of the game from developing technique and fitness to coach education and dealing with the media.
