The Gloucestershire Cricket Board runs 29 representative county and district teams each year as well as Emerging Players Programmes (1 boys, 1 girls) (EPP) for the most talented players aged 13-16.
The county programme is made up of boys sides from under 10 to under 17s and girls teams at under 11, under 13, under 15, under 17 and senior women. The boy’s district set-up includes teams at under 11, under 12, under 13 across each of the county’s four districts; Bristol, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds, Gloucester and the Forest of Dean and Stroud and South Gloucestershire.
From 2017 there has been a single development team at Under 14 and Under 15 made up of the best players who aren’t selected for the county squads. There are also girls development squads at under 13 and under 15. All of this is overseen by GCB head of performance and former Gloucestershire professional Tim Hancock and women and girls officer Lisa Pagett.
