England legend Lydia leads women’s coaching conference – places still available

2009 double World Cup winner Lydia Greenway will inspire the next generation of female coaches at a special women’s coaching conference in Taunton.

The talented batter and world-class fielder (pictured) is one of the guest speakers at the ECB regional event on April 8 at Taunton School.

The event – which also features former England player Caroline Foster (nee Atkins) is designed to help coaches at all levels of the grass roots game.

ECB regional growth executive Edgar Herridge said: “With England currently World Champions and the recreational game on the crest of the wave. Women’s cricket in England and Wales has never been in such a strong position. Looking to build on this success, the ECB are aiming to support women involved in cricket through a number of coaching conferences.”

Aimed at women interested in, or already leading, teaching or coaching in schools, clubs and communities, the conferences will create a safe, fun and relaxed environment in which they can:
